Top 24 - 60's Theme - "Daydream"Randy: "I like the little accent with the whole guitar vibe with you strumming along and playing along with it. I love that. You tried to do some interesting things vocally with the melody and stuff. Little pitch problems, especially on that high note at the end. It got a way from you a little bit, it went a little sharp. But it was aiight, man. It was aiight. Didn't blow me away, but it was aiight."
Paula: "For me, you did blow me away. You got me right back hooked to when I saw you the first time, and given the song choices, you picked a song that was really absolutely perfect for you. Your take on it, it was so minimal, effortless, and really joyful, and the expression "less is more", I really feel that you nailed that. And I already feel like you're a performer who's just coming back, just getting up and playing something on his guitar."
Simon: "Jason, I thought that was in the top 2 performances of the night. You, like David, have just got it. Great with the camera, very good choice of song. Actually I wouldn't have had the band, it would have worked better with just you and the guitar. You made it sound current. It proves my point that it doesn't matter how old the song is, it's what you do with it. As Paula said, it was effortless, you have charisma. I thought it was terrific."
